Get funding for your organization!
Student Government Association provides funding for Student Organizations at UMD who do not receive Student Service Fee Funding.
The Fall 2024 SOG Process has been completed. View the SOG Final Allocations. Please keep an eye on your email for communications regarding Spring 2025 Student Organization Grants.
Instructions for applying - Applications are Closed Until Spring Semester:
- Read the Instructions/Walkthrough
- Read the Processes
- Fill out the UMDSGA Fall 2024 SOG Budget Request Form
- Within the form, fill out a budget template and email it to Remi Foust ([email protected]).
- Print out and fill out a W9 to have ready for interview, unless you are a Campus Life Program
- Once all the previous steps are complete sign up for an interview time slot
- Start preparing for the interview
Late Applications will not be accepted.

- Complete their annual organization registration and be signed up for campus groups
- Have the president of your organization complete the annual student organization leader training
