SOG Request Information
Get funding for your organization!
Student Government Association provides funding for Student Organizations at UMD who do not receive Student Service Fee Funding.
To apply for a 2025 Fall Student Organization Grant, please follow the process below. Groups that received SOG funding for Spring 2025, are ineligible for Fall Grants.
Applications will close on Friday, September 12th at 11:59 pm.
- Complete the Mandatory Student Organization Leadership Training on Sept 9th, 2025.
- Read the Instructions/Walkthrough to know what to expect, what to fill out, and how to prepare.
- Read the Processes that include specific instructions and dates.
- Fill out a budget template and email it to both Korbin Dunaway ([email protected]) and Remi Foust ([email protected]).
- Print out and fill out a W9 to have ready for interview, unless you are a Campus Life Program.
- Complete the UMDSGA Fall 2025 SOG Budget Request Form to officially request funds for your organization.
- Once all the previous steps are complete sign up for an
interview time slot. Interviews will take place on September 15th and 16th. - Start preparing for the interview! Don't forget to bring your W9 with you!
